CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT BLISS BALLS

Time: 15 minutes
A chocolate and hazelnut snack that will have you coming back for more!  Vegan and healthy, ideal to share with the whole family.

INGREDIENTS
½ cup oatmeal flour
½ cup of hazelnut meal
¼ cup shredded coconut
2 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp JUST BLENDS Chocolate Hazelnut Protein Powder
1 tsp JUST BLENDS Maca powder
½ cup ground/chopped hazelnuts
1 pinch of salt

Wet ingredients

¼ cup melted dark chocolate
¼ cup of rice malt syrup or maple syrup
1¼ tsp vanilla
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp of hot water (as needed)

OPTIONAL
EXTRA desiccated coconut & ground/chopped hazelnuts for rolling. We also rolled a couple in extra melted chocolate :)

 METHOD
1 In a food processor, grind the hazelnuts.  Add the dry ingredients, flour, meal, cacao powder, a pinch of salt, protein & maca powder, and mix
2 Add the wet ingredients and process until well combined.  The mixture should clump together in your hand - if it is too dry add a tbsp of hot water as needed
3 Roll heaped tablespoons of the dough into balls and then roll in either the extra desiccated coconut or the chopped hazelnuts to coat

Place the balls in the fridge too firm up a little. Store in the fridge in an airtight container, or alternatively freeze them for a longer life, approx 3 months.  ENJOY!
