- Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix until dough form. Add butter and beat until a smooth dough is formed
- Cover dough and let proof for an hour
Beat butter with sugar until light and creamy
Add in egg and beat until well combined.
Stir in the rest of the flour ingredients and mix until dough is formed
Roll into a cylinder shape and wrap with cling wrap and refrigerate till needed
- Weigh 12 x 40g of the bread dough. The remaining bread dough will be used for the body parts
- Let them proof for 15mins
- Meanwhile, remove the cookie dough from the fridge. Put on a floured surface. Divide into 12 pieces that are about 30g each.
- Roll them into a bowl and between two sheets of clingwrap flatten into circles that are 9cm in diameter.
- Place each disk between lightly floured clingwraps and return to the fridge
- Grab the 12 x 40 bread doughs and roll into balls. This will be used for the body
With the reserved bread dough, make the body by making12 x 10g balls for the head
- 44 x 3g balls for the legs
- 12 x 2g balls for the tail
- Assemble the head, legs and tail on a grease proof paper like the pic below
- Grab the cookie doughs out of the fridge. Wrap the cookie dough around the body bread dough. If the cookie dough is too sticky, rub some cake flour on it.
- Place the body on top of the body parts making sure that they stick to the body. We used raisins to make the eyse
- Let them proof for another 15mins
- Bake for 10mins at 180 degrees Celsius
